Pay rate is dependent on Experience. From $18/HR-$20/HR
SUMMARY:
Performing necessary maintenance and repairs to various machines within the facility. Mechanically inclined and a quick learner. Ability to analyze problems and coming up with cost effective solutions. Ability to climb without fear of heights. Familiar with OSHA, EPA requirements and Local codes. Safe working habits. Ability to weld. Must have experience with crane and hoists. Have working knowledge of repair and maintenance of Motor and Control, and Hydraulic and Pneumatics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repair and maintenance of shop machines. Analyze problems with various equipment and machines. Work with minimum supervision. Climb to do repairs with no fear of heights.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and at least 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. The employee must occasionally push and/or pull a maximum force of 200 ft-lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Close mental and visual application required to interpret drawings, layout, plan work, and weld. Good judgment in determining best method and procedure to be followed. Able to work on jobs while applying safety rules at all times.
