SUMMARY
Assemble surgical trays or acute care products partially or completely by performing the following duties.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED); or less than high school education with one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. Work environment is an air conditioned clean room. Due to the nature of the products being assembled; most jewelry, false fingernails and fingernail polish are prohibited. Light make-up can be worn. Smocks and hair nets must be worn at all times. Beard covers, if applicable, may be required. The noise level in environment is usually moderate.
