Goodyear Company is seeking Human Resources Assistant!!! Pay: $18.00 an hour Location: Goodyear Shift: 1st shift Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm Mon-Fri

Human Resources Assistant Purpose Assist the Human Resources Manager in administering various human resource programs, including, but not limited to Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Safety, Recruitment, policies and procedures, leaves of absence, communications, company events and health and welfare issues for all employees while ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state labor laws. Essential Functions • Responsible for hourly recruiting process (develop and place recruitment ads, schedule and conduct interviews, make recommendations for hiring candidates, conduct background/reference checks and place job offers). • Conduct all new hire employee orientations. Oversee the temporary staffing needs for the facility (order/release associates, ensure orientation is conducted, issue badges, process invoices). Maintain excellent employee relations by providing support and information for employees on all human resources and benefit related topics. Resolve issues using independent judgement. • Oversee the temporary staffing needs for the facility (order/release associates, ensure orientation is conducted, issue badges, process invoices). • Responsible for all HRMS data entry (new hires, terms, changes). • Determine needs/requirements all safety/PPE supplies, office supplies, and wellness clinic supplies. • Accountable for the On Guard Security Badge system (order new badges, add/delete employees, run necessary reports) and administration of the uniform program. • Schedule and conduct quarterly safety training for the DeSoto Administrative staff.   • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management or Business preferred. PHR or SPHR certification a plus. 3 or more years working experience in a Human Resources environment.
  • Office environment with occasional need to be exposed to manufacturing and/or warehouse environment.
