Description

Technical Support Representative

A major multinational manufacturer of thermoplastic piping systems and instrumentation, serving the microelectronics, water treatment, commercial water, chemical processing, data center/mission critical, food and beverage, life sciences/institutional and building technology market segments, is seeking a hands-on, hardworking Technical Support Representative.

This employee will be responsible for assisting customers with technical inquires and service issues. Services include start up commissioning, preventive maintenance, repair services, basic operational training for customers, and similar field tasks.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an electronics technical school or two-year Associate’s Degree in electronic technology or military equivalent, preferred
  • Minimum of two years of repair, troubleshooting, or field service experience industrial instrumentation, valves and piping systems, a plus
  • Ability to read schematics, and blueprints, a plus
  • Able to exercise sound judgement in the absence of specific direction
  • Highly customer-centric with strong service goal orientation
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines
  • Aptitude to connect with customers, build and nurture relationships
  • Presents professional communication skills – verbal, written, e-mails
  • Industry knowledge and SAP experience preferred
