Provide Quality Assurance support to manufacturing, operations, engineering, testing, outside processes, product receiving, and product shipping.
Perform Product Inspection at in-line inspection (manufacturing cells), Pre-Test Inspection, Post Test Inspection, and Receiving Inspection.
Responsible for identifying and taking corrective action for any quality defect found non-conforming to the requirements of Polar Power Products, processes, and Customer requirements.
Perform product inspections utilizing work orders and checklists.
Support the Material Review Board (MRB) process.
Support the Return Material Authorization (RMA) process.
Perform investigations and take corrective action for non-conformances.
Issue internal and external corrective actions for non-conformances.
Gather non-conformance data for Management review.
Support shipping department by reviewing packaging and protection prior to boxing units. Ensure special packaging requirements flowed down by the Customer have been flowed to the shipping department and adhered to. Ensure flow down of special requirements (draining of fluids, et al) have been communicated to shipping department.
Ensure all assemblies, sub-assemblies, or detailed parts required by packing slip have been included in the Generator ship set.
Assist with inspection, investigations, and disposition of product returns.
Support Testing department.
Support equipment calibrations and metrology functions.
Review and organize product data packages prior to shipment.
Perform administrative duties; including copying and filing.
