Pay: $12 hrly Job Duties for Inspector:
Conducts in process and final inspections to ensure compliance to all company, customer and regulatory quality plans, standards, methods, policies, and procedures by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares and reviews labels for work orders for final review by Production Supervisor. Checks labels on completed jobs for missing or inaccurate data such as part number, JC number, job number, etc. Completes required paperwork tracking defects, quantities and lot numbers. Examines material or product for surface defects such as rough edges, cracks, pits, non-reticulation pore size, striation, pocket feathering, pour line, holes, coarse or fine pore size, twisted, distorted, or other defects. Determines pore size by comparing retains (limit samples) to product. Sets up and performs measuring test with SPC (Statistical Process Control) gages on materials, parts, and/or products to measure performance. Uses tape measures, gages and/or fixtures to verify specified dimensions of product or material. Packs product in boxes according to reference sheet. Rejects defective parts, marks type of defect on Reject Tag, attaches Tag to part or container of parts. Performs duties of assemblers as needed. Performs duties in accordance with all applicable quality system procedures and company policies.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and graphs.
