ResourceMFG Search Group is currently seeking a Project Manager for our client in Ridgeway, SC:

Identifies cost savings potentials to reduce cost of product
- Securing all customer approvals within the product modification process
- Corporate responsibility for the particular project including all economic aspects
- Compliance with the budget and deadlines
- Manage and motivate the overall departmental project teams
- Secure the achievement of economic and technical objectives
- Internal and external reporting and presentation of projects
- Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings
- Track and communicate team velocity and release progress, maintain process documentation
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Production, Engineering, Quality and Finance
- Strong ability to foresee risks/issues and raise awareness along with planning mitigations and removing impediments
- Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority over Project Members and external partners for planning, organization, control, integration, execution of, and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
- Assign project personnel to specific phases of aspects of project, such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing, in accordance with engineering disciplines of staff
- Create and maintains all project plans
- Coordinates and maintains quality assurance while minimizing possible risks on the project
- Oversees review of product design for compliance with engineering principles, organization standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications
- Ensures that all the documents needed for a project are complete and kept safe
- Tracks and reviews the reports and status of each team member
- Anticipates problems and forms remediation plans before the project suffers
- Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases and manages external customer change requests
- Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget and product cost targets
- Prepares interim and complete project reports
- Looks for ways to continually improve the process
- Maintains good communication with the team and with other groups involved in the project
- Performs "Lesson Learned" sessions
Bachelors degree in Engineering
Two or more years of work experience as a Scrum Master/Agile Project Manager
Seven or more years of project management experience, managing multiple large, complex and cross functional projects, with emphasis on systems, technologies, business process redesign, and knowledge of technical environments
5+ years of experience in Automotive
Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
Knowledge of automotive PDP process and requirements
Nice to have but not required are German skills
Salary is based on experience
